Penetrating sealers

Illawarra Coatings manufacturers penetrating sealers that encompass water repellency alone, or water and oil repellency in both waterborne and solventborne combinations.

PenSeal

PenSeal is a solventborne, water repellent, penetrating sealer designed to protect and treat masonry and cementitious structures for the prevention of water absorption.

PenSeal impregnates concrete to protect ingress of salts, chlorides. It protects reinforced concrete from waterborne chloride ions making it an ideal protective surface treatment.

PenSeal is designed to impregnate the concrete surface and permanently bond to the molecular structure of the concrete, thus changing its absorption characteristics.

PenSeal WB

PenSeal WB is a ready to use waterborne mixture of silane, siloxane, and synthetic resins. It is used to impart water repellency to inorganic substrates such as mineral construction materials. In this respect, it differs from conventional (mono-functional) water-repellents. The pores of the substrate remain open, the water vapor diffusion is hardly affected, if at all.

PenSeal Ultra

PenSeal Ultra is a penetrating, invisible and breathable sealer designed to protect products such as tiles, pavers, exposed natural stone concrete and grout from damage due to water, salts and oil-based stains.

PenSeal Ultra impregnates concrete to protect from ingress of salts, chlorides. It protects reinforced concrete from waterborne chloride ions making it an ideal protective surface treatment.

PenSeal Ultra WB

PenSeal Ultra WB is a ready to use waterborne mixture of silane, siloxane and synthetic resins. It is used in diluted form to impart both water repellency and oil repellency to inorganic substrates such as mineral construction materials. In this respect, it differs from conventional (mono-functional) water-repellents. The pores of the substrate remain open, the water vapor diffusion is hardly affected, if at all. Oil, grease, paint, etc. are easier to remove from surfaces that have been treated with PenSeal Ultra WB.
