Colourants and diluents

Illawarra Coatings manufacturers colourants for both our waterborne epoxy's and polyurethanes as well as solventfree colourants for our solvent free epoxy's and polyaspartics.

To complement the range, a series of diluents are available to ensure that our coatings maintain their application properties when dilution is required at times when greater penetration into the substrate is required.

Waterborne and solventfree colourants

Illawarra Coatings manufactures a range of waterborne  and solventfree tinting systems for use with our  coating systems.

Coloured systems can be produced by either factory tinting, colourpacks or via our in house tint dispenser/ shaker system.

Diluent B

Diluent B is a diluent for use with solventfree epoxy coating systems specifically for highly filled systems, reducing the viscosity of those systems to aid in application.

Diluent D

Diluent D is a diluent for use with solventfree polyaspartic coating systems, reducing the viscosity of those systems to aid in application.

Diluent D is the preferred diluent for EcoPAS polyaspartics.

Diluent W

Diluent W is a diluent for use with waterborne EcoDur and EcoPoxy coatings systems.

The addition of Diluent W reduces the viscosity of coatings systems without sacrificing wetting, flow and levelling properties which would occur if straight water is used.

Diluent W also contains an advanced defoamer system to minimise air bubbles forming on porous substrates.

Diluent X

Diluent X is a diluent for use with solventfree epoxy and polyaspartic coating systems reducing the viscosity of those systems to in application.
