EcoPoxy ArtRez - Hardener F

Hardener F is a quick curing hardener designed for thin film applications such as jewellery, artwork, metallic epoxy floors and benchtops. Film builds are generally limited to 1-3 millimetres. For higher film builds, Hardener S is the hardener of choice. Depending on the requirements of the artist, Hardener F and Hardener S can be blended in any ratio to achieve the desired combination of film build and cure speed. Learn more...

EcoPoxy ArtRez - Hardener DP

Hardener DP is a very slow curing hardener designed for very high film builds typically used in epoxy river and ocean tables. Typical film builds can be up to 50 millimetres or higher in a single pour. Curing typically takes up to 72 hours at 25 degrees celcius. The slow cure speed of this hardener coupled with its low exotherm temperature eliminates thermo-oxidative yellowing that can occur with faster hardeners. Learn more...

EcoLux A - UV Cured Artist Resin

EcoLux A uses our expertise in UV Cured coating to bring this exciting technology to the art world. The product range is currently undergoing fine tuning and should be available in Q4 2021.

The use of epoxy resins for artistic applications, be that epoxy river or ocean tables, general artwork or metallic floors has been gaining in popularity over recent years.

Illawarra Coatings has spent the past 5 years developing a range of resin systems for these emerging markets.  Using our Common Resin System (CRS) approach popular with flooring applicators, we have developed a range of systems that include fast cure hardeners for jewellery and the like as well as deep pour hardeners for river and ocean tables.
